2017 - All Is Good With Me, Not So Good With A Close Friend

I was reminded from a recent spam comment on the blog (deleted) that I should post an occasional update to say that everything continues to go as well as expected. I have my yearly checkup with Dr. Seifter, most recently in this past April, and my blood work and other indicators are all perfect. I am enjoying great health and am as "back to normal" as I can be.

The bigger challenge these days is with one of my best friends - Big Money Griff. He's battling undifferentiated sarcoma - for almost two years now. It's a difficult disease and his treatments have varied from surgery, to chemo and radiation. He's back in Washington Hospital Center this week and the prognosis is unclear. We are heading down to see him this afternoon. Keep him in your thoughts.
